Easy PSG win in French Cup. Treble is on.
Say what you will about them and there almost limitless budget.
Needing forwards and going with these after Dembele.
Barcola (22) -> 45m
Doue (19) -> 50m
Kvara (24) - 75m
That's some great talents at the right ages. Mainly talking about the first two as Kvara was a reality for a number of years.
Damn site better than going for 28+ age bracket for depth and competition.
Can I throw some stats at you with a small experiment if you don't mind? It's without much context which is needed to actually make a proper judgement, but here it goes:
All these players are left-wingers, and I suppose all of them are what you would call for quick players with decent to very good dribbling ability.
We have been linked with all of these players at some point the last couple of years.
Stats from last three seasons including this season. Only club stats. Tell me if you want me to give you an age range and tell me what you see and how much you would spend based on the stats alone.
Player A: 140 games, 49 goals and 27 assists.
Player B: 145 games, 43 goals and 42 assists.
Player C: 131 games, 36 goals and 35 assists.
Player D: 121 games, 35 goals and 18 assists.
Player E: 124 games, 28 goals and 29 assists.
If anyone else sees this feel free to comment of course. Considered making this a poll.
Lamine (17)
Ferran Torres (25)
Raphinha (28)
I will go for the one that (a) has the profile closest to Lamine since that's what we lack on the left, and (b) aged from Lamine to Torres.
So which ever of those stats is that man. Because the expectation is Flick will increase the output.
Really liked this post idea. This is fun. 👍Like I said these are just stats. Further context is always needed like the player's mentality, effort and stuff like that.
I'll give you the players though.
Player A is Rashford.
Player B is Leao.
Player C is Kvaradona.
Player D is Luis Diaz.
Player E is Nico Williams.
What do you think now? Surprised? Underwhelmed?
I think people these days have too high expectations of the stats wingers should have. Most very good ones have stats that are similar to these above.

A lot more to football than stats.
For example Rashford has very good stats, but what that doesn't tell you is how streaky he is and how he goes ages getting no stats then scores 10 goals in 10 games (see his best goalscoring season). And also how bad his general play is even when getting those stats.
Not to mention how poor he is against low blocks and his terrible attitude. And his unrealistic wage demands.
Barca should avoid a player like Rashford like the absolute plague.
