Yes, Spain has begun to prosecute sexual crimes much more strictly in recent years. But I don't think his career will be over. He was an absolute idiot to have a sex video of a 16 year old on his phone obviously, but the crime isn't big enough to end his career. It's not like he recorded or participated in it. He was like 20/21 years old, not that big of a difference in age. Just a horny idiot with very questionable friends to get such videos.

Yeah guys do a lot of stupid things when they're young.
It would be much worse if it was a pre-pusbescent girl. There's a big difference in mental and physical maturity between a 16 year old and a girl under 10. Still not great of course but it seems more like a young guy with more hormones than brains doing something stupid.
This isn't paedophilia in the way that a man targeting boys or girls who are pre-pubescent is. He did something really stupid but he isn't a pedo, just a guy who got interested in a younger girl and went too far.

It's not like you can guess a girl's age in these videos. Damn when I went dancing, I was sometimes shocked to find out the age of some girls. Some 15 year olds were already looking 20+ with developed female attributes and tons of make-up. Today is probably even worse.
People should relax with such things. He was a horny idiot, but nowhere near enough for a career ending.

Exactly, you just cannot tell, especially these days with make up, hair, plastic surgery, early puberty etc.
Like you say he was an idiot, but his age and the girl being ALMOST an adult should be taken into account. Here in the UK it is is legal to have sex with a 16 year old girl, so I don't think having a video of one on your phone should be life-killing. He should be reprimanded and warned extensively, but he's young and made a silly mistake. In future he should be more careful.

Madrid don't spend big money on old players.
Last reports are saying as soon as they close the Huijsen deal they are going for Carreras from Benfica and want him before CWC too. Makes sense. Then in summer they'll go for a midfielder. Seen MacA linked to them a lot but don't think Liverpool will sell.
I think Xabi will play something like

That's true, but thought they could get him for a decent fee and Alonso will have at least 1 player that already knows what he's trying to do.
Yea that's the formation I except as well and said before just as a base without any new players it will make them better than this season, it's more stable than what they are trying now.
The question as I asked them, is who will play being Valverde, do you go with Toucha since you'll have Trent to play passes or a Tonali type player.
He plays with two floating 10's so Vini will likely be beside Bellingham with one always moving forward to support Mbappe.
I hope he's a fraud but if he's not, we will have to be much better next season to win la Liga, no -12 points swing from Madrid like this season.

As I said when they bought Mbappe, it's irrelevant who they buy and irrelevant who they get to manage them. They are totally and completely reliant on the REFEREES and their actions this season shows they know this themselves.
Their referees are worth 4 Mbappe's and 6 Huijsen's, so who cares if they get one more. Their referees win them more points than any player or manager they can sign.
They are a sham of a club. Having cheated and corrupted their way through history, these specialists in failure still have managed to 'win' only 8 more league than Barca and a hilarious 12 LESS Copa del Reys.
Whilst getting humiliated at least 10 times in the last 15 years against their biggest rivals.
Not even close to being a Top5 club in history to anyone who is familiar with their sordid history.

I think they need a controller like Kroos rather than Tchou/Cama* alongside Valverde. Now who that player will be is anyone's guess.
*They will be of use in certain type of games obviously but I have a suspicion one of them will be sold (alongside possibly Rodrigo) to finance new signings though I expect Xabi will rotate more than Carletto and if they won't have that many longterm injuries with new signings I believe they'll have a very deep team.
Winning the league next season will be a much harder task and hopefully Flick will learn from his mistakes this season or I don't see us having much chances.
