Nope, Bundesliga started sooner than the other Leagues (also the French League iirc). Coincidentally you can guess where the teams playing the final came from.

Of course it matters. Some leagues got back from quarantine quicker than others. Government decisions and pandemic rules... different in each country.

So, it's not the same rules.

Everyone that's why that team isn't recognized as it would other wise have been.

Ask lewa lol.

Even Barca fans on here use to say the same when he was linked bar 1 or 2.

But now to fit the narrative it doesn't matter lol.

Barca fans don't like Bayern, so it is no surprise.

If we had won it, we wouldn't be scratching it off.

Its not the same as a regular CL tournament, yes, but its also very difficult to win regardless of during COVID or not so it doesn't change much for how I evaluate Flick.

Nobody is scratching it off, and that covid season is the reason Flick got the Barca job after the NT stint. It is recognized but you can't use it to draw too many connections to a normal season. Too many variables are different.

Flick already has a sextuple, multiple league titles and 2 cups this season for Barca.

If you want then you can hold on to these childish excuses for 2 more weeks but that won't change the clear difference in coaching ability.

Look at this forum. This forum worships Xavi as a player and Barca legend. But Flick's Football is so entertaining that the entire forum is excited for Barca games. Xavi's style of play wasn't good enough for Barca.

If we won it, all our rivals and rational fans would mention it and rightly so.

Much like how in basketball ball, they talking about the NBA bubble championship and discount it.

I don't know why people can't just be real, you can rate flick while saying his biggest achievement as an asterisk beside it, which is a view widely held in football.

It doesn't take away from the great football he's played since being here, it doesn't even take away from him being a better manager than Xavi.

But this league title will be his first proper title.
