Why people are refusing to see the clear differences between the two above examples I will never know.

Edwards and Hughes will spend them wisely and improve, as they did with Coutinho money

Marcelo is such an overrated bum.
Yes, great technique, knew how to handle the ball and create.
But, for a LB, he was horrendous in all other aspects such as defending, runs, etc.

For me Cole was >>>
Hubris also to put him in the same sentence as Roberto Carlos

Problem is Xavi Alonso is a clever coach.

He will play 3-4-3, or work his ways to hide his defensive weaknesses and maximize his creative output.
Unfortunately for us, Madrid will have a proper coach next season

Fatporta has to work his financial shit and help the team with important transfers come summer to compete again on all fronts

Yup. Don't know why this forum loves brownnosing Madrid legends(except CR7) so much.

Marcelo is awful defensively.

Rumor is Frimpong being contacted
Not the best defender either, but he can run up and down the flank like mad dog, and provide width Trent was not providing by drifting centrally

Different profile, I am sure Slot will make good use of

He's not really an RB in a back 4. More of a wing back.

Edwards always keeps things confidential. He might have some surprises up his sleeve.

Yeah, I agree.

Pool are one of the historic clubs, and if you win big multiple trophies like PL and CL (like 3+ PL, at least 2 CL) while being a superstar in your position, that's all time great level.

It's easier to be an all-time great at RM and Barca because you're going to be surrounded by great talent more often (like historically speaking), but you don't need to be RM/Barca player to be all-time great.
