He was not superb lol. 1.39 xG tells you that much, the midfield circulated the ball ok, but essentially, the chances the team had came from our star players having individual actions. The midfield didn't create much through top notch passing.

Hard though when Inter had 10 compact behind the ball, and even then we're overwhelmed for much of the match.

That was due to our mids incredible touch and technique to find passes in closed spaces that other teams, simply can't.

So our xG in a statistical sense was low, but our chance creation was high.

For the past couple of matches, his performances drastically reduce in the second half. Doesn't run as quickly, doesn't pass as accurately, special awareness is zero, and makes sh*t clearances. Teams are starting to pick up on this. I know he's playing a lot of minutes, but Flick needs to tell him to be more proactive in the second half's of matches or ask for a sub if he feels he's too tired.

Form has dropped lately. No coincidence Barca have failed to dominate the midfiled of matches like Mallorca,Dortmund, RM, Celta and Inter because of this.

The other senior midfielder(FDJ) is a passenger who rides on Pedri's form.

Fake news.. Barca dominated v Dortmund at home with FDJ better of the two.

Barca midfield got better of Reals midfield and got better of Inters midfield without a doubt.

Mallorca? Barca utterly dominated that whole game.

Usual excuses if Pedri is not top.. other players fault. In built excuse. He doesnt need it and was good v Inter. Both were.

Basically all you lads are saying is Pedri needs likes of FDJ... and you dont even see it.
