You see... swap these two players, Lewandowski runs in and Fermin passes - do you understand? Probably not, once again - the player running in should also control the offside line. A better pass would have been to Yamal, but Fermin also made a mistake here. Secondly - why don't you write that apart from this situation he could have had two assists if Raphinia had behaved better? I'm surprised as well, that smb is surprised, it was obvious Lewandowski will not pass to Yamal as much as possible, especially with Fermin as a choice.
Might be non intentional, but I doubt it, same was with Robben, trying his "signature" move 7 time a match against a wall of defenders, and Lewandowski running up and down and getting into position with no hope for a pass. So just started shooting from whatever positions and ignoring Robben.
Ofc Robben was a club legend, so was ok to do it, but there was instant outrage on "selfish" Lewandowski. Same here, young Messi nr 46 can do whatever because genius, tractor must plow and serve. Lewandowski ofc understands, which only adds fuel to the fire.
