Fucking QSG barely made it into the playoffs and now beat Liverpool. 1 loss more and they would have been eliminated. Just another example that your form first half of the season doesn't matter at all.
Wouldn't surprise me if they win it all the way now. They have the momentum on their side and can rest easily the entire starting XI in the league.

We were all talking about how Flick burnt us to the ground in the opening of the season.

But the reality is Liverpool fell off massively second half season in terms of performance. While Flick managed to put things in check and groove up.

PSG exposed this, unfortunately.

Now get Slot some signings, a bit more quality in depth and see if he can cook next year.

Oh, and Mo Salah  worst big CL performance since that Half Black Leg performance in PSG versus Real.

Bellingham would destroy them.

It is games like this, when you realise how tough it is to do what Bellingham does.

If Bellingham was a Liverpool player today, he scores. It's that simple.
Bellingham is not really being that prolific this season, to be honest I think because of the initial shock at his scoring numbers the football community overhyped him beyond what he is.

Great player and world-class for this era, sure, his end product elevates him beyond being simply 'good' but saying he is a guaranteed goal in big ties is too far. Seen enough of him vs Barca and for England to get what type of player he is now.

What kind of player is he?.

A vastly inferior talent to Xavi, Iniesta, Modric, Kroos and Pirlo, who masquerades as an 'all-action' central midfielder. When all he actually is is a box rusher - a better looking, with a better body and far better PR Frank Lampard.

Good/solid midfielder who is elevated bc of finishing, but his performances are not that special without goals and assists. He is moments-based. He is still elite for this era but there is a gap between elite and generational.

You can't take end product away from him if its what he has, but it means when the tap is off his floor is lower than other elite midfielders. You can always rely on Pedri playing quality games regardless of goals and assists.

At the moment Bellingham has 11 goals so far this season (all comps) which doesn't distinguish him that much from players in the same position.

The same reason Messi is miles better than Cristiano Ronaldo. And the same reason Bruno Fernandes isn't special. Or Rashford. Same reason Haaland is overrated as he's absymal at actually playing football.

Highlights/moments players overrated due to the modern fan's hysterical pathetic obsession with G/A. They don't even watch football, and if they do they sure as fuck cannot analyse. They just decide who's good based on stats from wikipedia.

If Atletico do knock out Real Madrid, Barcelona could well and truly be the favourites to win the UCL.

Very unlikely ATM will KO Madrid tonight and Barca can't be favs in CL atm. If Barca drew PSG they probably be out of CL at the moment had PSG played like vs. LFC over the two legs. PSG looked the most impressive of them all until now, in the KO phase ofc.

Can't really say that as tbf Barcelona are in their best form of this season and so is PSG, Liverpool was in their most average form of this season despite the wins. I reckon if Barcelona played PSG, we would play better than Liverpool did and maybe concede more but our fire power attack can clutch up though
