Neymar is nothing like yamal.. young neymar is closer to a young messi style wise. Neither 18 neymar nor 18 messi were as much of team players as current yamal. Yamal seems to prioritize passing and playmaking over dribbling while the former 2 prioritized individual efforts.. I have seen messi since he was 16 and I say with the most conviction that his playmaking personality shaped itself way later than yamal. This is just to compare styles because messi at yamals age was absurdly lethal with his aggressive explosive dribbling .

Nah, just a case of being a better dribbler and more confident in his own ability.

Henry said that when they trained at Barca Messi would get fouled or lose the ball then went solo and dribbled trough the whole opposing team and score.

Yamal is doing the right thing, considering his current skill level.

People overlook such passes because he's Lamine. If it was any other 17 year old internet would be going mad about those passes. Tells you all you need to know about his "poor performances" really. It's came to the point where people expect him to perform prime Messi level at 17.

He's trying to fancy-dribble too much instead of being more ascetic with his moves like he was, when less famous and shy. He isn't that good of a dribbler to try all these moves. Should try to look out for passes and linkups more than to put himself in the spotlight.
