Don't think Xavi trusts anyone to take his spot yet and would rather opt for 60 min Lewy and a lead rather than 30 min to turn the game around. In hindsight he should've been subbed off in the 5-0 games. Last game would've probably made Xavi more cautious of rotating too much.

Will be called a fanboy for this but imo he's one of those players who can cope with consistent 90 mins even when the games are frequent.

Think he can manage. He has a good relationship with Xavi and will let him know when it gets too much.
