Has been pretty average since World Cup. His long shot no longer work. A good unity player but never as a midfielder.

He shot way above his xG, probably one of those unsustainable streaks. He has a good kick but it's just tough to score wonder goals all the time.

Hate to break it to you, but he's useless in central midfield. Ancelotti found the perfect niche role for him at RW, but when the big guns leave (Kroos, Modric) he won't pick up the mantle.

Better than FDJ so they say.

To be fair he is effective at CM when his energy is important.. likes of Liverpool game and Ancelotti noticing how much Liverpool struggle against energy.

Ask him to play against teams like FDJ that is levels above on the ball and has engine to match him and found wanting.

He is at RW as he lacks a lot at CM that is the reality.
