Tebas started it when he put the blame on Laporta, suggesting he should resign.
That was niether professionally appropriate nor true or even makes sense.
This simply indicates they are already looking for a fall guy and wants Laporta to be that one, and he made that public.

Laporta had the right to hit back, and let's be honest here, victim card is prevalent in Catalonia and Barca fans.
The change of his stance, with clubs releasing statement, simply means Tebas himself is under pressure, by same clubs he relies on in elections, and he is trying to put blame on one person and one club.

I understand why Laporta wanted to fight back against Tebas, he should, for example he could have accused Tebas of being unprofessional, jumping the gun before anything is known from the investigation, he could have accused Tebas of caving into pressure from other clubs etc. I am simply saying the way Laporta fought back, particularly by accusing Tebas of being always anti-Barca and playing the victim card, as if it was Tebas who threw us into this situation, is very immature.

He called him out for speaking about barca every other man and being obsessed which is true

Cause barca is all he seems to talk about spreading negative news and creating toxicity

Why is this team so bad at buying players? While Barto's reign was disasterous, Laporta's second stint has not been great, not even good.

Seems he got bullied in paying for Ferran up front when a loan was the right move. Raphina would be an ok signing at the cut rate price he would have been available for if Leeds were relegated. But they weren't and in the end $120M was spent on players who are not at the top top level and never looked they'd ever be. Do not get me wrong, these guys are talented but at Barca you have to be world class. Considering the financial situation, Barca had to be very careful and strategic in who they spent money on. Clearly, this was not the case.

Even the Kounde signing was a lot of money but was more understandable considering how bad the defence has been for awhile. With the Christensen signing at least they spent money on some defenders for once. But the rest of the squad building has been average to poor. The right strategy would be to buy young players whose value could grow and even if they didn't fully turn out, could be sold to break even or perhaps for profit which could be then reinvested in the squad.

Can't work in Barca due to the sense of urgency/fans wanting trophies every season. Young players need time to develop, especially if they're not from La Masia. We are not a mid table club, unless we want to be a Betis/Bilbao/Villareal and experiment a lot.

It can work and is needed when you are rebuilding. Pedri and gavi have been doing fine. Raphina had little upside. Ferran was young at least but still a lot of money. Still no proper RB. List goes on and on.
