Brazil v Argentina have usually been very low scoring hard battles last few years. It's basically a coin flip.

There is a story circulating online suggesting that Messi is an inspirational captain because at half time in the previous ( must win game against Mexico ) he grabbed De Paul and said that if he gave away one more ball then he didn?t want to see his face after the match !?

Thoughts ??

Not running like a dog, but if you're close to player that would break pass to flanks just cover it. Modric is a 38 year old with similar constitution and still can cover and press. If he doesnt start to press in ko they gonna have a hard time advancing

You can't compare modric work rate and stamina to Messi lmfao

Messi hasn't run since 2016 dawg

First shocking game loss vs Saudis was a blessing on disguise for Argentina. Made them to perform under pressure early on.
And this penalty miss might be one too, since he already flopped a pen in a competition and probably won't miss another one.

I wouldnt br surprised to see him miss another penalty.

Whats his record in crucial moments? Has to be like 50/50.

Why is a flop when penalties are saved? If it went over the post I would have understood...GK had a great day and picked the right side. Having Argentina already under immense pressure is a blessing in disguise indeed. They should go into the semis without big problems. We'll see.
