9 - Robert Lewandowski

1. He is older, slower and more tired each passing week.
If he looks slow and old now, imagine how he'll look in May of 2024.
2. Even if he was flying like a fit youngster in the first matches, I said: let's see how he'll play after 10-15 matches in a row when accumulated fatigue kicks the old man.
Again, if he looks tired now after 10-15 matches, imagine how he'll look like after 30-40 matches.

There is additional risk factor: if we get knocked out of a CL, the morale of the whole team will go down even more.

He is scoring some nice league goals against small teams, but in overal some fans went way too far with 34 years old Lewa hype and expectations.

Still, the sad news is: without him, we would barely score any goals. Raphinha, Dembele, Ferran...

The problem is you can say it for every single Barcelona players. Maybe only Dembele looks "young" coz of his speed but Barcelona looks terrible as a team physically. If you really watched Lewy in Bayern you would know he is not a player who will win you games without team support. Sure he can win a match or two but it is rather exception. He needs service and last 3 games he has no service at all. The problem is Barca can not adapt tactics to oponent or during match. Same tactics all the time no matter if Barca is winning or losing. Corners and free kicks are so terrible that I can't believe I watch Barca.

All true.

Here we go, the Lewa lads blaming everyone but him for disappearing in imp games and showing his age, but are the first to give him all the credit when he farms minnows off the crosses of fellow farmer Dembele.

If he doesn?t score v Inter, Bayern, and RM in coming games, he?ll have flopped this season. A top 5-10 striker ever should be able to convert against big teams from chances (and he had plenty v Bayern already)

I like Lewa but in games like this and Inter we see how many levels Messi was/is above him and everyone. Lewa is totally useless without service from teammates while Messi would take the ball and create something by himself.

Major overreaction here. Hasn't scored in literally 2 games. Calma, Xavi's setup can't get the ball to him. Once we start playing better he will keep driving them in, doesn't need pace for that.

For someone with so many headed goals, he doesn't seem very good in the air so far.

A good aerial presence turns some of these crosses into chances, but he loses out a lot to the CBs.

He is 1m 84. He got his headed goals in collaboration with other players - usually when he was in a movement. He usually does not outjump the defenders.

At Bayern he had Muller and Kimmich who are year on year some of the highest assisters in Europe. He's having to do much more to be involved now and it's taking a toll.

M?ller is not just an assister - he is a partner in the box very often, too - and he held the box for him partly when he was marauding. It is easy to keep one striker in chains - but not two strikers who have a blind understanding.
