You need to read what i posg above to know what Busquets brings. Those stats aren't meaningless.

Busquets always plays as a DM. How is that even a small sample??? Frenkie who plays like once or twice, that is a small sample.

Ten Hag doesn't say anthing about Busquets v Frenkie but he said Frenkie isn't a lone DM. So it's pretty obvious.

I have responsed to every point and dont agree it makes him a good DM.

You are missing point... you are saying FDJ at DM is too small a sample to compare with Bsuquets. If that is argument it works both ways to say if he is better or worse.

Busquets, as data shows, good at both attacking and defeding for the team. That's what coaches see from him. His flaws are obvious but you can't neglect his strengths.

The whole discussion here is why Xavi sets up his midfield for Busquets. Simple answer: Busquets brings more.

Pedri is probably Xavi's main man next season but he will keep Busquets as long as possible.

No the data doesnt show that and nor does it show Xavi is correct to choose him at DM to maximise Barcelonas midfield.

Frenkie with midfield set up for him has been at higher level in recent years than Busquets and it isnt even close.

Frenkie never play at higher level than current Busquets. A midfield set up for him failed hard vs Czech last yeat in major tournament though.

Frenkie is good but no need to give him godlike status.

Saying busquets has be terrible since 2011 is a bit disingenuous, Barcelona has won a couple of league titles, 2 CL SF, been great with Spain in the recent euros in that time.

Frankie 1 excellent season with Ajax doesn't top off of that.

If anything Barcelona have done worst since Frankie has been apart of our midfield..

People who think Busi is still good enough, have no right to whine when we get embarrassed in the CL again next season. Hope you guys enjoyed the Anfied game and the 8-2, because those games are Busis true level.

He will look even worse if we sell his babysitter Frenkie. Pedri and Gavi will also regress, because they would need to cover even more for the walking corpse without Frenkie.

Didnt say he has been terrible every year but he has not been good for Spain in any tournament and last one is over played.

Has not been best DM in world since 2011 and has been major reason in Barcas hammerings in CL too often.

Frenkie has arrived at worse Barca no doubt with players declining/leaving and not being played in position that suits him.

Everybody needs to chill the fuck out. So much noise, but the situation at the club is very difficult. Just be glad that Barto the terrorist is history and we have some real cules in charge like Laporta and Xavi. These guys, together with Pep, Messi, Iniesta and the likes, are some of the best legends in the history of the game.

We have people who care for this club more than anybody else almost, who also happen to be proven winners. That's who you want to take you through hard times.

FDJ won the pen v PSG in one of few positive moments and then was best player on park in next game to be fair and the argument as always is Busi in those games playing in sole DM role that suits him and others fitting in around him.
