Kylian Mbappé

He can very clearly flop
Nor is playing for Klopp or Pep a guarantee of attaining a higher level

It is.
Stop being a contrarian for no reason.
You know - we all know - that at least 99% of players attain their maximum under these managers

I think it is fine when you consider they were supposedly offering a 160 millions fee for transfering him last year. It is a very expensive deal but still cheaper than what they were offering Monaco or PSG. Mbapp? played his hands right and got an huge harvest.

Mbapp? is still young and already good so it should be a very good transfer unless he gets some unfortunate injuries.

Long time no see and hope all is well. So pretty much the sources in France have all confirmed Mbappe's departure, right?

Who are you guys getting to replace him? In addition to Dembele I mean?

That's not certain at all.
Unreliable rumors about him and PSG so far

Hi, i'm doing good, thank you. What about you ?

About Mbapp?, i'm not even following the latest news. I have already said a long time ago that he was not going to renew, reason why i wanted PSG to cash in last summer to rebuild the team this year.

You just need to observe Mbapp? behaviour before his departure from Monaco and you'll see it is just a repeat. He wanted to leave already last year, so there is no reason for him to stay now. The rest is just theatrics to announce his departure at the opportune time to avoid wrath of his past club fans and gather positive press from his new environment. Also, this tactic allowed him to negotiate a better contract.

Well played from him; he did put in efforts while being at Paris and fulfilled his whole 5 years contract. Despite the mixed results, it was a good transfer for both him and PSG.

About replacement, mmmhh, PSG sporting direction is often a mess and often works through opportunities. Like mast year, i guess PSG will try to poach some free agents because of lack of money. We are already having it hard paying the buying option on Nuno Mendes. Only striker being mentioned is Darwin Nunez but the quoted price is so surreal that the rumour can't be trusted. Also talks about Lewandowski but he should go to Bar?a.

Thank you, I am OK, suffering like most Barca fans these days. I am bitter today because RMC had confirmed that Lieke Martens decided not to extend with us and will be signing with you guys... :shakeshead:

Yeah, it is a matter of time that Mbappe goes to Madrid. Good to see if he got a sweet deal from Madrid, if those numbers I posted before are true.

Good transfer for you guys? I think even without him you would have no problem winning the league these years (except last year) and having a decent CL run.

Mbappe very likely ends up keeping most, if not all of his image rights.

Yeah. PSG offered to give him all, so i supposed he used this as a leverage with Real. When you see it even became a point of contention with the national team, you can expect him to be quite greedy on that point with his club contract.

No it isn't
Ridiculous take
Numerous examples of players from either manager tenure of various levels of skill from Lewandowski, Kroos, Mandzukic, Gotze, Yaya to a Lovren, Chyhrynskyi, Hleb or Nathaniel Clyne that haven't improved or even got worse, and in some cases gone on to have better careers without them

Likelihood is not a guarantee
All about a fit of player to current circumstance and what coach needs of them

As you said, we didn't win it last year and he carried the team this year (best goalscorer and best assister in the league). The first two years, we were rather carried by Neymar but after the latter injuries and Mbapp? further development, Mbapp? has clearly become the leader of PSG in the last two seasons.

I consider it a good transfer because despite the mixed results, he was mostly available contrary to our other top players who are often injured. He had also pretty good stats and he became the boss of the team despite the other big names around. I would sign for transfer like that more often considering PSG mediocre transfer skills.

Any plans to replace him? Also any changes in PSG's upper management after this season and its possible ramifications?

I was wondering who was that Lieke Martens. So, it happens to be a female player. Maybe it is impactful for Bar?a but i don't think it will change anything for PSG. We are Lyon feeder club.

Barca Femeni since 2017 and Dutch NT player, been very good for us and we want to extend her but apparently she said no and will be heading to Paris next season. It could be our fourth player lost this season, eh.

Lyon had been great, of course but you guys are on a rise, and are definitely giving them a run for their money. Your squad had been scandal-laden because of Aminata Diallo and Kheira Hamraoui, you will see better days ahead I think.

Mmmhh. PSG is the kind of club that can appoint Kluivert as Director of Football in mid July. Also the club that can start a transfer window with Antero Henrique, have him negotiate and agree with Raiola, only for them to introduce Leonardo as new sporting director the day after, defeating the work previously done by the Portuguese.

!i think with this club, it is best not to speculate or even have any expectations. Just go with the flow? It is probably how upper management (in sporting matters because otherwise they are quite good in commercial and marketing matters) works.

Just look at last transfer window : apart from Hakimi, all transfers are opportunities. Last minute push on Wijnaldum the fraud. Last minute deal for Donnarumma while they had just renewed Navas until 2024. Last minute deal with crooked Ramos. They even dared to say that Ramos nicked impressive and never seen before physical results during his pre-signing test, lmao. Last minute deal for Messi.

There is no real planning. The midfield has still not been strengthened. We will miss on guys like Tchouam?ni, like Fabinho before.

I'm not one bit optimistic about next window or even next season. Already know it will be shitfest anyway.

We are not really on the rise. We were champions last year. Lyon have ransacked our team last year when they took several players following Cheyrou (ex-PSG f?minines director) appointment at Lyon. We are Lyon feeder club and it ain't gonna change.

Last year it was Christiane Endler, Perle Morroni and Signe Bruun. This year, it is already Dabritz and probably Marie-Antoinette Katoto who are going from PSG to Lyon.

I see. Well, with money (which PSG doesn't lack and I can only concur and bow in in front of the awesome commercial and marketing power PSG has, you guys had the second most commercial revenue in 2021, only behind Bayern and were ahead of Madrid and us) and proper planning (we will see about that), you can definitely turn it around soon (just look at Madrid, aka CD Tacon has done in a few years). You just won your first league title last year, right, after a few years of finishing 2nd.
