Gabriel Jesus

Jesus is a very good player, but you have to know how to use him. Really not a clear 9. More of a false 9, SS, which is tricky to use for managers not named Pep and Klopp.

For 30 mil he looks like the best bet this summer. In a good fluid attack system, he and Fati could be great.

I personally would prefer a more clinical striker - someone we can rely on. Id prefer to have Jesus on the wing than playing CF.
personally not going to be relying on an injury prone Fati right now, will need more time to see if he's still got it/finally over his injury worries.

He is not a proper nine. He will end up being like Torres out here. Managers like Peo and Klopp make players look good because they are great managers. Jesus reminds me of Depay. Good but not what we are looking for.

[Bruno Andrade] BREAKING: Arsenal close to agreement of ?50m (?43m) fee for Gabriel Jesus. Arteta and Edu have been key in the negotiations. Jesus wants to be a focal point in the attack.

Out of contract in 2023. But understandable he wants this move ahead of the World Cup. City racking in that cash lately.

This is the way a football club should be run. They are not afraid to get rid of players and they are selling at over market value.

Barca never got that one. Sell players who are close to being finished or simply not good enough quick enough and you will raise way more money than holding to them, which will only cost you in terms of transfer value and the salary you pay.

Good news if true, never wanted a top 10 striker in the world here.

We're already way too good having a top 1 midfielder and the best DM in the universe.

Somebody comes and overpays for your house and you shout at your neighbours "this is how you sell!" Has more to do with the way Arsenal is being run than City.

40/50m odd for Jesus is not really over paying.

He has scored a decent amount of goals is versatile, works off ball and can hold it up.

Would imagine he will do well at Arsenal.

Who are the alternatives that are better value for them? Anyone else is more expensive or a risk.

Think we should of take Julian Alvarez for 20m. Considering the way the squad has settled and City now bringing in Haaland, we can afford a slight gamble next season given the rest of the European market prices.

Wouldn't mind loaning him for 2 years if we can't find anyone else.

Exactly, would've preferred getting Jesus over Ferran, and I think he'll have a good impact at Arsenal
