My XI of current players:

ter Stegen(im gonna be hated for this )

Walker - de Ligt - Marquinhos - Shaw

Pogba - Jorginho - Havertz

Pulisic - Lukaku - Rashford

Likes of Felix, Osimhen, Lautaro would be on my bench.

I actually like a few of these players a lot like de Ligt, but he's not really developed in the right direction. Going to Juve was a mistake IMO.

Doesn't mean that these players are bad, but just overrated compared to the hype they get I guess.

I'd say it's pretty clear cut. You could ask most analysts, former greats, experts, whatever, and most of them would have Messi as a top five player of all-time. Some would probably even have him as top three and some even at the very top.

You don't have to like Messi to admit it.

I would swap de Ligt out for Rudiger and Pogba for Bruno (the former is not even overrated IMO, most know he's flimsy AF). Though obv weaker I dont think MATS is thought of that highly anymore, but still think Neuer is more overrated. Man loves a blunder.
Maybe add Dani Olmo in as well

And have to have Lampard on the bench to manage this bunch. Nothing like a Mourinho protege who thinks he can employ same methods and call out players for lack of balls to compensate shoddy ideas in 2022.

Bruno has the stats but seem to have a lot of shitty games where he's anonymous. A lot of statpadding. As for Rudiger then the man looks like a bum in anything but a three man backline it seems.

Is Dani Olmo even rated that highly though? Only people I see twerking for him are La Masia merchants on Twitter.

This is a Barca forum and Messi is one of the club's biggest legends, so the rate you'll see those users favoring Messi will obviously be higher.
