Kylian Mbappé

I meant it as "he was a top talent that time around", so I fully agree w/ you...
And yes, Kaka at least tried, though he was severely hampered by injuries...While the same applies to Hazard as well, he is a much bigger flop, as mentally he just doesn't have the same drive.

That is true. Kak? played through the pain, I recall that one interview where he said as much.

it must be said that Mbappe has a lot of work to do if he wants to become the next global football star. hes a talent, no doubt, with an eye for goal and tremendous speed, but he isnt yet at in-form Neymar levels, let alone Messi/CR.

once messi and CR retire the standards for what constitutes 'best in the world' are going to take a massive hit. itll be a return to a world in which the likes of Owen can win a bdor, lol

At the age of 22 scored more in CL than Robben, Eto'o, Rooney, Kaka, Suarez :)lol:), Giggs, Van Persie, Higuain, Makaay or Figo.

Pretty sure he'll be OK vs La Liga minnows

Broke Messi's record for the youngest player to reach 30 goals. Perhaps won't last for long depending on how Halaand's CL campaign goes next season but still a very impressive achievement.

The number of CL games in a season is only going to go up in the coming years so i'm pretty shure CR7 and Messi's CL records are going to be broken at some point.

I think new generation will break all these CL records. Not that they are better but differences between the clubs are bigger I think.
