World Cup 2022

Horatio

You're welcome
Think NL played pretty well in retrospect. Never got into trouble and good passing including in small space which resulted in good buildups. Also long crosses were well placed. Good pressing and recovery of ball. Almost gave nothing away to Norway. But very wasteful final third. This generation has a lot of quality. Hope van Gaal can lead us far into tourney.

Bit of a nail biter though. Managed to score only until minute 80.

Ivory coast out of world cup, needed one point today but lost away against Cameroon.

Top seed: Senegal, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria & Nigeria
Lower seed: Egypt, Ghana, Cameroon, Mali & DR Congo

Draw in December, games in March
Home and away games
Seems to be pretty strong qualifications this one tbh

For 5 teams to go through?

Not that I know hell lot of African NTs right now, but judging from the previous world cup, it seems that Senegal, Tynisia, Algeria and Marocco are too strong to miss out.
So the only chance for Egypt is to draw Nigeria?

Uruguay has declined a lot over the last few years.
Failure to replace the aging core?

Maybe it's time for Tabarez to step aside. Do they have any other coaches there? The guys been in charge of that team for decades it seems. He can't even stand on his own strength.
