Still Depay rather than this version of Aguero.

Let's see how Aguero moves. This La Liga is great for older slower players. The level is low, not exactly PL standard.

Maybe 4-2-3-1 is on the cards as well, with De Jong - Pedri, Depay - Fati - Dembele, Aguero. Who knows. We need to change the manager and have the players back asap.

But yea, probably won't be enough for a title push. Should be plenty for a top 3 finish though no doubt.

Madrid are good. But I think if we get our injured players back and Koeman stops moaning all the time, we can play much much better than this shit.

We talk winning the league when Real plays, and then we hope for a top 4 finish when Barca match is on.

Shows you the state the league's in.

You said it yourself. Enormous gaps between lines, passive defending, relying on Benzema to bury his chances. Vinicius's scoring form might have been a purple patch.

Leaving gaps doesn't mean they're shit. Only that they take risks, which are justified in some cases, and in others they are not.
Defending is patchy because they barely played together, starting RB is out injured, the reserve isn't even a RB and all Spanish Alaba knows is 'Vamos'.
That + unusually poor Casemiro form to start with.
They dont rely on Benzema burying anything, in fact more scorers this season at this stage than any season since 2018.

TBH every post you had during the game shows you're conjuring stuff up to fit the narrative.
Camavinga technique isn't an issue though it'd be advantageous if he worked on his weaker foot.

Camavinga is a good player. When talking about his technique, I didn't mean dribbling or ball retention, but the way he hits the ball. His passes were awkward to receive today, often a meter or two wide. I think he even gave two passes that ended up going out of play even though they were fairly simple. This is how he passes while not pressed as well. Maybe he just had an off day, have to watch him more.

They do rely on Benzema because he is the only consistent goalscorer. His form has been insane so far, but goals will be hard to obtain by the time he has a dip in form.

Which was hardly a problem until today.
Not that Edu has nothing to work on, for sure he does. Balance is something that's a little off with him. Pass weight you learn over time and he's a fairly good passer for a 19-year old. Positioning was most suspect.

They don't rely on Benzema anymore. Scored a third of team's goals. Meaning the rest of the team scored 2/3s.
His form always goes up and down and never been a secret.

If this is what makes RM shit then I'm happy to take that if it means we get into CL semis and stay first with the rest falling away over time.

Are you talking about this season? It's very early days. He is scoring and assisting like crazy, making the team better. When he has an off-day, goals in general will be harder to score. Seriously, just wait.

Also, Madrid are not getting into CL semis, I am pretty sure about that. Don't know about the LL though, what I see for now is that the entirety of the top-5 will keep dropping points.

And in those very early days we, as a team rather than just Benzema, played very good offensive football. Yet here you are claiming we're so very poor lol

Will see about that.
So far RM could have dropped points more than they already have and pulled off results in both league and CL. Ain't the same exact attack which has been achilles heel for years.

I do agree we'll drop points a hefty amount probably through bad decisions and vs the kinds of opponents like today that lockdown and are able to resist without making mistakes. Bilbaos and Sevillas. And aided by tactics requiring intense recovery that Ancelotti employs. But we're more likely to do well vs the poorer teams that we otherwise struggled to breakdown.

I'd be disappointed if Real ends empty-handed if I were a madridista.

Early days but it' tru.
