Bartomeu, gave them money just like that, and they believed that they were superstars. Miralem Pjanic is the most ridiculous thing in the club, he should never have been in Bar?a.

Find me one post where he thought he was a superstar? He has always been saying that he is working hard but not getting a chance....there are other players that belive are superstars, starting every game and we still suck as a team.....some of you here are blaming players that didnt even play, for our current situation, yet you all are praising ones playing every minute....because of people like you. BARCA is in this situation...keep praising our current squad...they are supersyars in your eyes

Nothing to see here. It's well documented that if Koeman doesn't like you, you're done. Did the same to Joaquin, his feud with Koeman is world-famous by now. Now you can blame Joaquin for many things, but a player who's still playing at a pretty high level in La Liga at fucking 40 can't be blamed for not being professional.

Koeman is a leader and has the stubbornness and the arrogance of elite managers. Now, if only he could deliver the goods in the tactical area, he'd be joining the likes of Pep, Klopp, Tuchel, and others.

As it stands, he's just a hard man without the goods to back it up. Comes across as rather grumpy and frowned. There's a fine line between being in control and being bad-tempered. Koeman is more of the latter. Once he does get his point across, and he is decisive in this area, his vision and his implementation are quite plain and average.

In the world of managers, there are managers who have the vision and bright ideas but lack the personality and the courage to go all the way and get their point across even through conflicts and bad times. Then there are managers who have guts, and have tenacity, but then their ideas aren't all that. And there are a few managers who have both the tenacity and decisiveness, as well as the ideas and the plan to really form a cohesive whole. Those are the ones every top club wants, those that could be relied on 100%.

A question. Did Barca increase his salary compared to what he received at Juve? If yes, by how much?

Seems like he's still whining about Koeman in his Tuttosport interview.

He seemed to whine the whole season tbh, even if his comments seemed to make sense, they came off as whiny and usually professional footballers don't want to come off like that

I think the final nail in the coffin was him going to the Catalan press and complaining about his situation last season.

He was getting sub appearances around that time with a few starts here and there but when he started to whine to the media that was the end of him which to be fair I understand his frustrations but at the same time, I don't blame Koeman for getting pissed and deciding "Fuck this guy" and dropping him completely.

Yeah it was the nail in the coffin finally, but he moaned a bit at the start already, and then there was another time that he said something like "it was a new situation for him" and so on that came off a bit weird. I think Koeman let him moan quite a bit before he finally decided to drop him completely.

I agree with most of what he says though, even though I thought he played terribly most of the time and was a very bad fit and a bad transfer from the start.

1st appearance and world class assist today 😉

He sounded like he was crying and moanimg but he was telling the truth, and everyone knows that he was telling the truth...wasnt Koeman whining and crying when he was about to be sacked?

Koeman said all other players were better than him...we will see how he manages them during the season
