I wanted Suarez out as he cant run, cant pass consistently, cant press etc.
That with Messi and other old core of team was done and needed to be moved on from and not pay him 40m over the next couple seasons to repeat it.
Fact he was a bell end on the pitch and screams at folk was small part of it and fine if winning.
Glad he is gone. Found Barca trying to fit him and old players in some of the worst football have seen team play as a unit and last season before Koeman fucked up the 352 with Pique a lot of what I want to see from team had returned.
Need to go step further and weed out the other old legs in Pique and Busi next but wont happen.
In the end what most likely cost the league is reverting back to amigos and older legs. Shame.

Suarez give away the ball a hell of a lot in search of the world cup pass and doesnt hold up ball and bring others into play enough for what Barca needed from a 9 with Messi by time he couldnt run anymore. In my opinion..
Suarez was by far the worst passer of ball at Atletico last season. Worse than every Barca player in comparison.

The only & unique reason Aguera was signed and Suarez was out is what Suarez said himself :

What annoyed me the most was Suarez falling on his ass every time we had counter and he got the ball. He couldn't do anything else but fall down and beg for a free kick.
That's why our counters sucked.

The last two seasons Suarez could barely trap the ball, his first touch was trash. He killed so many counters in a dead halt because of it. He was a shadow of the player he had previously been.
Just because he became motivated at AM and was placed in a system that benefited him being lazy doesn't change the fact he was trash for us for two whole seasons. Didnt show up in the CL, didnt press at all, and yelled at youngsters while being in poor form himself. He had to move on. Not our fault the board wasted 120mil on Griezman and didnt properly replace him.
