Cmon Lads.....this is Gerard Romero we're talking about.

If Gerard Romero says the sky is blue you bet I'm believing it's green.

Interesting.

I wonder if Laporta was in contact with him for a while given his comments about German coaches being an option during his campaign.

Purely from the economic side of it Flick is very unlikely, since getting him means we will have to pay Bayern a hefty fee, probably much more than what we will have to pay to pry the likes of Xavi and Ten Hag etc. away from their current teams.

Doubt it.
Bayern already signed a replacement, what are they gonna do? Hire 2 coaches?

Flick can't fix shit because he is out of his depth. Would rather take a gamble on Kovac since we are talking about merit and credentials

You're really not keen on Flick are you? What makes you think he would be so bad? In terms of merit, he transformed Kovac's Bayern who were struggling in the second season.

Kovac is also decent but Flick seems to like attacking football.

They signed Nagelsmann because Flick is leaving (almost destined for Germany), but that doesn't mean they won't get compensated by the DFB or whoever is getting Flick. They won't let him leave for free.

They have little option and little leverage.
And even NT wasn't paying "hefty" fee, nothing Barca can't afford.

haven't seen anything about him that makes me believe he wasn't just a spectator. remember when we were in the mud with MSN and after a whatsapp chat the boys rallied to make lucho a treble winner? that's what happened to flick also. the squad was there, it's not as if he did something spectacular. bayern had the ability to dismantle teams before flick came in.

According to reports the DFB will arrange not just one but several games to be played at the Allianz, that is a hefty fee in the north of 10m, as far as I am concerned. Do we want to spend 10-15m on a manager? I don't know.

In his first 16 matches in bundesliga bayern scored 50 goals, average 3.1 goals per game - best in history of bundesliga football. I cant find a pic which shows the amount of chances created between kovac and flick but if you would have saw the matches you could have seen clearly a difference between both Bayern's - Flick Bayern has created a lot more chances.

To say that he just won because of the squad is no argument, why didnt kovac win in previous year? He had the same team but they looked like a harmless cat in attack against liverpool in both matches and scored only one goal (own goal). That Liverpool wasnt even impressive but Bayern managed to be a lot worse. By the way you could say same about Pep according to your logic: he did do nothing, only played the best football in history because of the squad.

Edit: In season 19/20 Kovac: 5 wins, 3 draws, 2 losses: 1.8 points per average ---> Flick 2.43 !

Under kovac offense: 2.5 goals per average ---> under Flick: 3.3 !

kid, you are over hyped for nothing. same bumsi flick who lost the cup this season, wobbled in the league and got dumped from the CL by a PSG who can't win ligue 1.

he is so good that bayern ditched him when the opportunity came along. even payed big money for another manager.

DFB loss was bad but can happen. In the match against PSG bayern had 31 shots in first leg, not Flicks fault if his players couldnt score more. If lewa wouldnt have been injured the story would have ended different probably. Anyways, i dont say he is tier 1 coach as Pep or Klopp but he deserves credit for his work, he won all 6 titles in his first season, what more could have he done to make malvolio happy ? :p
