His pace and unpredictability is consistently unsettling the opposition defences since moving to the middle. Our chance creation is great. Dembele himself is creating chances purely down to his pace. And I must say for all the Dumbele talk, he is very good at playing the offside line.

I think even if he isn't the solution then he is showing the route to the solution.

His transfer fee was absurd and if we try to judge him outside of it, I like what he is bringing. Even if he is at times frustrating.

Agreed. I think the main issue is that he was bought to replace Neymar and a lot of people on here were hoping for him to be brilliant so they didn't have to admit they missed Neymar because at the time they were angry with how he left.

He can constantly break the offside line and receive a through ball to be 1v1 with the keeper. He is better than most at this. But he can't score most of the times.

Trincao does not seem to have the speed or dribbling ability to go through his defenders. Not to mention his very weak right foot for crossing or a shot.

Not even sure Trincao has a better 1v1 with the keeper.

Not to mention the abundance of world class RW wingers out there with 0 or cheap transfer fee and willing to sign for a cheap salary.

Anyways, I don't think Trincao is the better player, but I like to see him get some minutes. He lacks pace to useful in this setup, but is generally a smart player, thinks quick and has decent technique.

I think playing Trincao more would be better for many reasons. Demeble tends to become Dumbele whenever he feels his minutes/spot is secure.

Koeman has not played the back ups enough to keep the starters motivated.
