Did quite well in end including pen.

Sharp enough on ball but never really got involved in way Pedri did even when knackered.

Difficult though as by time came on game was like basketball and little midfield.

Exactly. He did well. Didn't lose the ball, had some nice actions, took his chance at the penalty with seriousness and confidence.
