Don't get me wrong, our defense can be abysmal, but other than Pjanic spraying some bad passes in dangerous areas, we've kept it pretty tight at the back. But, imo, even though we are not playing very intense by normal CL team standard, for what we're used to seeing from us in this particular area, we are flying out there. So, I'm afraid some of our players will be swimming by min 60 and Juve will have the edge in the 2nd part of the game.

Noticed we play the same as City in the buildup with Roberto, Araujo and Lenglet forming a back 3 just like Walker and their CB's.

Another scoreless night for Mbappe. This is why you never forecast greatness going forwards just because he had more goals than Messi or CR7 in CL at 18.

Both of them were significantly superior players at 21. Messi won the Ballon d'Or at that age.

I didnt watch the game, (nor the highlights, as i dont care about what PSG is doing in some group stage game), didnt Mbappe have both the assists though?

Again, i feel like i need to remind people, Ronaldo was never this "wonderkid" some make him out to be at a young age, he was very talented, but also inconsistent and lacking in end-product.

But, if you give it one more year, and Mbappe still hasnt improved, then at that point, a 22 year old Ronaldo would be ahead off him.

Dembele seems inhibited and afraid to sprint. Understandable after all his injuries. But Dembele minus pace is not much of a player.

Mbappe is a top player but he started to get ridiculously overrated at some point. He's not that much better than someone like Rashford for example. It's perfectly logical for both of them to be playing in the same match and Rashford to have a better game with a bigger impact.

CR7 won the Ballon D'Or at 23, no? I don't see Mbappe getting there, maybe ever.

Halaand has a better shot.

Mbappe's claim to fame is that game v Pep and Dortmund in 16/17 and the washed up Argentina of 18 WC.

All 3 are terrible defenses that he ran over with his pace. Dude's now lost to MU kids and vets twice in a row at home. Great players don't allow that.
