Everyone who defends Valverde at this point is unable to make very good points.
Everyone should agree that he is as average as it gets for a club like Barcelona and focus on what is to do to improve our situation. Not try to somehow force a narrative where Valverde is actually competent enough to lead a club of our stature. Cause he ain't.

No amount of verbal gymnastics can convince me that he is the correct manager for this club or a better alternative than most of the coaches available.
Why would any fan be confident going into the new season when the team keeps crumbling in high pressure moments?

But it’s also the style of football. It’s absolutely horrid.
Additionally, none of the players have improved under him and he hasn’t really “developed” anyone. He has mismanaged a few however.
Completely uninspiring and I can’t say I’m particularly excited to watch the side currently.

Valgreen was given reins of a club that had been dominating the league for little over a decade. That’s a fact.
This is the first time that we’ve not won the Copa since Madrid won in 2014. The is the first time that we’ve been humiliated in consecutive years in the CL. The fear factor in Europe isn’t there anymore. We are serial bottlers.
So I’m not trying to hate on the guy. What I’m seeing like many other fans is how out of depth the guy is here.
Fans are entitled to support him, but to identify any meaningful progress made under him, you would have to be scraping the barrel really.

The problem is those senior players are the reason why Valverde kept his job. He has to repay them back and show his gratitude by starting them even more next season. Rakitic already said no one is challenging his position next season, not Arthur and not FDJ.
I already lost my sympathy for Messi. He ought to know better than anyone that carrying on this manner is inviting more defeats and humiliations next season and that the younger ones are going to end up with their careers wasted.
