Ernesto Valverde - V1

There is no need to use insult anyone, we are here to discuss things, not to scream "retarded" like a child every time you get emotional

What narrative? I gave you an explanation, and I don't go around reading your posts that aren't quoted to me, nobody has such time.

Why fire him when his contract is ending  are you talking about firing him before we even enter CL? You make no sense once again, now if he decides to trigger the clause in his contract for the extension after not winning anything, which would be very low even for him, then I'm sure even this incompetent board would still fire him.

You want Valverde gone   you would probably faint if you saw your hero in real life. Sometimes there are things we have to sacrifice in order to achieve something.

Yes big man, your posts are very intelligent and people here are refreshing your profile page, waiting for you new posts. Sounds like you were arguing about nothing and your only "arguments" are calling someone "retarded", "not a fan", I don't know why you got so invested into this, is it that hard to keep yourself together?

Me calling a spade a spade (a retarded post for what it exactly is) is not getting "emotional". I don't get emotional online.

If you did, we might not have had this discussion as everything would have been perfectly clear. Not really my fault that you enter a discussion without reading what your opponent or the one you are discussing with, is actually writing. I read all of your posts and replied to their content.

I made perfect sense as usual. It is just you having a hard time understanding simple English. Never been told that my English is this bad for people not to understand what I am writing over several posts. Despite English being my fourth language.

I will try again. Yes, the club extended the deal with Valverde. HOWEVER that does not mean that he cannot be fired after this season. Why is this so hard to understand? Why is it so hard to understand that he won't get fired this season unless we don't win anything? Why is it so hard to understand that I prefer us winning rather than not win anything (while seeing RM win everything) just to part ways with Valverde 1 season PRIOR to his contract expiring (2020) WITHOUT having guarantees of our USELESS board signing a better substitute?

Yes, Valverde is now my "hero". The level here:lol: Ask that question to the likes of Joan Khaled, Messi858 and others that I have had discussions with in regards to Valverde.

The level of this guy. Keep it going big boi. Don't really bother. Gets pretty tiring to write to a wall after all. No offense. Don't bother for a freaking fifth round, dude. Off-topic, you Korean by any chance?

I don't want this team to fail at all.

But my opinion on Valverde is, he could really be much better if he actually moved away from his hardcore conservative mindset on a number of areas. His conservative ideas have caused a lot more harm than good to us at times because this is a team that isn't built around certain concepts in that regard.

What's that got to do with anything?

AC Milan and Forest (Just to name a couple) have had periods of domination in their history like us and they still have fans watching and supporting them despite their downfall.

Honestly the more I think about it fans who think "The team's playing poorly so i'll stop watching games" aren't true fans at all. Pretty immature tbh.

If Barca had a really average squad and a bunch of scrubs then alot fans (can I call them fans ?) would understand that good football can't be played and would just support the club , but when you are sitting on the most expensive squad in the world including the best player and you see the dire football that's been played then I can understand when some fans don't bother watching or make time to watch the Barca games.

I watch Barca games all the times and make sure I attend the games at Camp Nou at least once or twice a year. But I have to make a confession, lately, Valverde's football made me half sleep several times and I'm guilty of taking a short nap now and then while the game is on.

Am I still considered a Barca fan? :(

Nope, please support other teams. Apparently, you can't discuss in a forum as well, you won't be taken seriously.

Can we all (the sane users among us) agree that wanting our team to burn and win nothing (deliberately) and our main rivals (RM) to win everything instead (triplete) just to have Valverde fired this summer, a manager that likely won't last longer than the summer of 2020 regardless (we might even part ways with him if we "only" win the league title this season) of what happens, is retarded? Mentally retarded to be precise.

Or that only watching highlight videos of our games (for a long time) while calling yourself a fan is being a fucking spoilt crybaby that has no appreciation of what a historic period it has been to be a fan of FCB lately? That guy would be nowhere to be seen with that attitude just between 2006-2008 let alone the freaking Gaspart era. It's pathetic.

Simple as that really. The same suspects might start crying now due to this post. Had to write it and won't try to sugarcoat anything. Not my style.

Those "fans" what you are talking about aren't true fans. I agree with what you are saying, with our squad and Messi we should be playing amazing football, I think Valverde is clueless. But not watching Barca because we aren't living up to your standards of how Barca should play or wishing we would lose is spoilt and usually points to being a post 2009 fan.

I watch most of the games (unless I'm working or studying). But, sometimes I turn them off because of Valverde's brilliance. Subbing on Gomes @Roma is one instance of this.

There's a reason why Barcelona has such an enormous fanbase and has grown to where they are now. And it isn't something that they aren't capable of doing, or inevitable circumstances that's stifling them to achieve something better. And I dont really know how watching games more than the other would make you a fan and not the other. And it certainly doesnt strip someone's right to discuss about club matters.

If u believe I'm not a fan and I'm spoilt then so be it. Take me as someone trying to have a discussion in a Barcaforum. It's the same. I dont know whats your commotion about.

That is perfectly normal. I have missed a few games in the past 15-20 years due to family gatherings, weddings, birthdays, weekend holidays, parties, exams, work, having to go early to bed (when a smaller child), having a flu and what not and you name it. The Roma game I was seconds away from destroying a rather expensive TV, my MacBook Pro, iPhone, Patek Phillipe watch and everything else as well. For a few seconds that is before I calmed down.

However there is a difference between that and "boycotting" (essentially what it is) our team due to not liking Valverde or how the team plays or performs. That is being a spoilt fucking crybaby in my eyes. Each to his own. I don't really care nor do I have a problem with it but I will call it out when the same user ( henias) is trying to make an excuse for the absolutely mentally retarded initial posts of clemente who was hoping for us to deliberately lose while RM should win everything in return. That is not being a fan in my eyes. Sorry. Call me elitist, "extremist" or whatever. Will call such behavior out and give my view on it. Others might disagree and call me out. Fair enough. Nothing personal.

I don't like Valverde. Probably as little as even his harshest critics. The board? Don't even get me started. But to boycott my club and team? Never. To wish it to fail deliberately and our main rival to win instead? Are you fucking insane? No way.

I guess it is incomprehensible for me as a lifelong fan that is emotionally invested in this club to do such a thing hence why I have a hard time understanding such "logic" and why I am calling it out.

It’s not a commotion, I can just never imagine myself not watching Barca games, however bad we are playing.

You calling people retarded without getting emotional? Must be a very likeable dude.

As I said I read posts that are quoted to me, that is your fault for expecting that someone will read your entire post history for no reason.

You made sense only to yourself, this is why there are other people in the world, to point out where you are wrong. I never said your English is bad or that I cannot understand you, and I don't think that there is a single soul on this planet that cares about how many languages you speak, you making yourself a "4th language" victim is not relevant to any of this, I said I'm okay with bad results as long as EV gets the boot, I'm really surprised there is something hard to understand for you.

And I'm not Korean, neither English is my first language, but you can keep calling me retarded or american, I don't really care, as long as it fits your narrative.

. Nothing personal.

Did I disagree with you when you elaborated on your points in your last post.

Making an excuse? Like I said if you disagreed with me, I'm fine with it. But to say I shouldn't be taken seriously is nonsensical. You bring something out of nowhere just to write me off.

So don't treat me as a fan then. Even fans of other clubs can post here so why can't I? Anyway keep up with that deranged attitude, it's getting you nowhere.

Most people say that I am.

Are you deliberately acting this thick? I did not call YOU/the person/the user Clemente for mentally retarded but your initial POST. How many times do I need to write that for you to understand it? Seriously? Are you trying to make a world record here of some sorts? Come on, man!

Are you drunk? What are you blabbering about? Yes, I am expecting a user that starts a discussion (or at least participates in one) to read what I write. Not 10% of it nor 50% of it. Otherwise I am wasting my time. You as well. Unless you like wasting your time.

No I made sense to every user here that read my posts. Hence nobody other than Henias somewhat understanding your position. I don't expect you to care, frankly. I just was astonished and wrote that maybe it was the fault of my English that you don't understand simple points that are repeated time and time again. I think that we are having a fifth round now.

Last time I checked Americans speak English as their native tongue (at least the vast majority of them) and lastly I never called you, the person/user for mentally retarded but your initial post. For the billionth time. Everyone can see what I wrote as well as your mentally retarded (thank you very much) initial post.

My LAST post about this topic with you since I am really wasting my time now.

Totally fine. That's your preference but has nothing to do when discussing about something completely different.

Last checked I was talking about how a setback might be a turning point for a club and not "how to be a true Barca fan"

Just checked Real Madrid fans reaction of EV's renewal news, here are some the comments from another Real board.

-"Great news. The only reason we miraculously still have a slight chance of winning Liga."

-"That guy should be paying dividends to Messi. He is a mediocre coached just being carried to success"

-"The truth about Barcelona is that if Messi is having an off-day, they've got absolutely nothing else going for them.
And you've got to question Valverde here. What's he been doing for over 1.5 years now? What's his plan?
A completely mediocre coach who's waaaay out of his league."

-"I seriously think Lyon will knock them out.

Messi is unfit, thanks to injuries and a hilarious mismanagement by Valverde (he gets injured vs Valencia, but doesn't get substituted, then they bench him for El Clasico, now he plays a full game vs Bilbao despite Valverde's assistant coach saying he's still not fit, and he will probably need to be rested next week vs Valladolid too. Amazing management).

Meanwhile, Arthur, their second best player this season, is out injured, while Suarez and Coutinho are proper shit. Then there's Boateng who has played 1 game in Copa Del Rey and hasn't been seen since, and Dembelé, who I am a big fan of, is also out of form, coming back from an injury.

And when all these players are out on the pitch struggling in frustration, they will look to the sidelines and see freaking Ernesto Valverde standing there. Lmao, must be hard."

So many more comment I don't want to bother copy/paste. I only read one positive comment on EV, I think that's wolfe

-"Valverde is a solid guy and a dependable person. Just because he doesn't talk that fancy pants football talk or have a "philosophy" doesn't mean he doesn't know what he's doing."
