Obviously if he wants to return for real it's because Ligue 1 is not challenging and his team while stacked just doesn't gel like how Barca does. He knows he won't get far in CL at this stage which was the only point of going to QSG. And he's starting to lose his relevance in the mainstream, more people know of Coutinho then Neymar. He is getting outshone by a 19-year old M'bappe who will only continue to get better while Messi is growing old. Ney has regressed in play and strategy significantly since the move for both club and country. And the ironic part is all of his favorite Brazilian bros are now chilling at Barcelona. Imagine getting suckered into QSG by Alves and hang with boring old Brazilians like Thiago Silva and David Luiz. Meanwhile, at Barca Malcolm, Arthur, and Coutinho are living life. The Neymar money from his departure brought that to Barca.

I agree with most posters here that he needs to be taught a lesson and learn that there are consequences for his actions. He chose to leave a great team with a great structure for him. He chose to listen to his father and entourage, which proved to lower his career.

Despite all that I would be over the moon if rumors are true, and he wants to return. He played his best football here and I would hope a return here gets him a return to form. He was exciting when he payed for Barca. But I don't know if a return is possible especially if the bad habits were ingrained and amplified for two seasons at PSG. But he fit here IMO. And to be honest it would make me watch football again. It's because of him that I stopped watching in general. He ruined my mood when he pulled that stunt. But Neymar at Barcelona is just right.

First of all, he hardly wants to play like a pure winger anymore, which will be an incongruity if he were to play with Messi. Those good times reminisced are only in 2014/2015. If he were to come back, it will sadly be a repeat of 2016/7 season.

Not to mention this guy utterly and shamefully lives off attention. In Barcelona, there is zero tolerance for such kind of diva behaviour not only because it looks bad, but it really hurts the teamplay and the progression of it.

Ultimately, I'd rather we spend the money on a better striker, midfielder or a defender, rather than wingers after wingers, or someone who wants to be overly showy on the ball. Even if it werent a financial issue, there would be an inexplicable reason to play Neymar and would limit a fresher system, especially when Lucho's MSN is deemed unsuitable for a less explosive Messi, albeit a very creative one.

We dont have to sell Dembele if we got Neymar back. If we wanted to go all out we could play 4-2-3-1 with Messi as the main creative outlet Suarez woukd have to be replaced though next season. If I was hired as the manager for next season I would play

PSG will never part with Mbappe willingly the player wanted to go there, he is French and happy.
