News update for you:-

'Unless Barca offer £130m up front (they won't) he stays. If they do (they won't) he goes.'

Well, Coutinho worth 150m... Messi should be around 2 billion. The board better invest the 222m in La Masia or pay the debts instead of buying tripled-priced players with questionable loyalty. Two months ago we were discussing Cou not being worth even 90m and look where we now... The Barca squad is good enough with the current setup to challenge for La Liga the least. No CL on the horizon, though.

It's interesting that 'AnfieldEd' £130 figure It's only source on the internet is from an article from 'Express UK', Specifically from an interview with 'Stuart Pearce' Former England Under-21 manager, And i quote:

"As a player, yes he's an outstanding player, so he's up towards £50-80million in my world anyway looking at him," he added.
"If Barcelona pick the phone up to ring you on Merseyside, all of a sudden you start at £130million and you work from there.

While 'AnfieldEd' claims he has an insider providing the info, I think he'll understand if we have serious doubts in the info from an anonymous person on the internet.

90+30m, its done mate.,

also, its € not £.

that is pretty good, if true. I will not be surprised if its true. Many of the members here are having trouble realizing how much money 90m euro is. Liverpool can get 3-4 quality quality young players. And can really make a difference next term. Plus unlike PSG they are respectable and big mentality club. If it has come to their attention that a key player wants to leave, they wouldn't block it. As it could potentially ruin their next season.

They could use this money to buy 2 of (Mahrez + ross barkley, renato sanchez, iowbi, chamberline) or bring sterling back to liverpool. Thats what 90 m could potentially mean for them.

Except Coutinho didn't say he wants to leave and signed a 5 year contract in January.

rumors are he told the club. I don't think he has handed in transfer request, but he could've easily told his wishes to the management and the coach. In january neymar was in barcelona, and i am sure he wasn't contacted by barca management back then.(they should've though)

Rumours say he is already a Barcelona player
.. But if you check reliable Liverpool journalist they deny all those rumours. They even say the latest offer was from 3 weeks ago and no new contact after that.

Of course they deny them, he is to play the 2 CL draw matches against Hoffenheim before its official.

That's no reason. Those journalists aren't Liverpool employees and they can also say just nothing.

We have seen the announced in a couple hours reports enough now to know there is no deal at all, at least not now.

There's a nice article in todays Kicker which is one of the most reliable sources. According to the magazine, clubs are in negotiations and try to finalize the move for around 100M and Coutinho could be presented before the super cup match against those unknown team from the other spanish city.
They also quote Steven Gerrard who judged the situation as difficult as Klopp don't want to sell, the fans want him to stay, that Liverpool is in a comfortable position of not needing to sell, but it is up to Coutinhos decision here.

They also speculate, that we rather get Coutinho then Dembele, who recently deleted all his relations to BVB on his social media.

Doesn't sound too bad and the fact that Kicker is reliable makes me think that this is not over yet.
