[MENTION=928]AnfieldEd[/MENTION] physical condition is absolutely crucial for any tennis player. Talent doesn't go away, fitness does. Tbh, it's obvious.
When Fed isn't 100% fit, he can't cover his ground as efficiently, which stops him from hitting the ball right after it bounced, which makes him half the player he is.

I hope he can sustain his high energy play into the final, but i wouldn't be surprised if he didn't, though of course i hope that won't come to pass.

What a proper sendoff it would be for Fed to win it at the most prestigious Grand Slam.


Although I reckon Novak is extra motivated since he lost the French Open final. I don't see him losing 2 GS finals in a row.

Federer looks even better than last year despite his age. If he wins tomorrow he will only need another 2. It's hard, but it's possible. He has had some bad luck in the last few years. Competition is not fierce right now, Djokovic is pretty much the only top top player.

-Confronted by Fogs for taking too long to receive serve
-Got cramped during the prize ceremony.
