Lliga: Barca - Getafe 6-0

Why is everyone so worried about Pedro and not the team's prospects? Pedro has had his day in Barca and that much has been clear for ages now. Pedro can't cut it even as a bit part player anymore. We have to be honest with some things.

Obviously Neymar, Saurez and Messi are much better than Pedro but its still not great seeing him on bench so often as he is a very good player and has given up chance to move by staying loyal this season.

You are being far too harsh on him in my opinion, he is still a very good player and well worth a place in Barca squad.

Depending on the draws, a cl run can be weaker than the liga teams. There's also less corruption/bias, as rfef is not in charge, but uefa. CL is surely the trophy that generates most attention, but I still prefer la liga. I'm in the minority, though.

Win La Liga and Bayern (or Real win the CL) and Messi will probably miss on his 5th Golden Ball. Moreover, the noise from Bayernistas/Madridistas would be deafening. CL is the thing as it gives you glory and shuts everyone else up. I know it is a bit unfair, but that's how football works unfortunately.

Moreover, no matter how lucky you get in the draw (looking at you Bayern) eventually you will have to deal with the big boys.

I will have to disagree. Pedro used to be a very good player, not anymore, and not for quite some time now.

Additionally, he does not deserve a place in the Barca squad anymore. We should definitely look for replacements asap.

He absolutely deserves a place in the squad and a lot of very good teams will be looking to take him from Barca wait and see.

Is he good enough to be a first choice starter? No but he still has a lot to offer any team that he is with.

Wouldn't worry about Pedro. He'll get some minutes today and at Cordoba likely as well. Playing MSN from the start just means Lucho's taking no chances and wants the match killed quickly if possible.

When you have the time, please make a list of his good performances during the last 3 seasons, because I find it extremely difficult to recollect any.

It's not time to take chances.

MSN should start. If we hammer them and take a promising lead then make subs.

He has scored 29 goals across the past two seasons so not doing badly on limited minutes.

I seem to remember a hat trick from him away to Getafe last season when Barca were 2-0 down in a game without Messi. That good enough?

Rakitic runs like a madman in every game. It's absolutely crucial to have him fit and fresh for the remaining fixtures.

Messi won 2 of his bdors without the cl.
A possible domestic double is not something small. I'm not saying I don't want to win the cl, but la liga should always be the priority, to me.
