Atletico Madrid Game

That is one way to read it, but they clearly contradict that statement - it initially says if espanyol is safe, the match stays on sunday, then further down it says if espanyol is safe, the match will be moved to Saturday. Which is it?

Yeah, just noticed the english version is confused. The spanish makes it clear: the game will be saturday if espanyol is safe from relegation, or if rm has no more chance to be champions.

Which makes it very likely then, Atletico win their game and it will be on saturday.

If this is the case than I am F*CKED. I know this isn't all that uncommon for La Liga, but isn't it a bit crazy/odd/embarrassing that we're talking about the biggest match of the season, the match that will determine who wins the league, yet they can't decide when to play it until maybe 6 days beforehand?

Oh well - fingers crossed that it stays on Sunday because if it gets moved to 6pm Sat I won't even be able to watch at a pub as I'll be working my way through customs and on my way into the city from the airport.

UGGH.

atletcio won or loss vs malaga, it doesn't matter for barca.. they have to win 2 games!

with aletico win vs malgaga and with a win from us, it will be decided in the last game, and rm is 100% out..
we would have to win and the to drw for the titel..

wow what a final.. adn the best thing is we dont have to be afraid that rm wins it .

This is because of the UCL final. I don't know if any of rm or Atletico asked, but playing Saturday will give them one more day to rest for the final.

I think u forgot abt Real Madrid who in this case can win both their games and snatch the league..

they can but they can do nothing if we win both.

see, if we atleti were by some chance to lose to malaga and we beat elche then atleti would have to go for the win at our ground, whereas if they beat malaga the onus is on us alone.

the risk is greater but the chance of getting the 3 points against an atleti needing to win may be greater than against an atleti only needing a draw.

You should atleast inform at the airline company if you can change flights, I once did the night before for a flight to Rome, needed to pay 150 eur though.
Its not impossible I think.
Or just take a taxi straight from the airport and you might make it with some luck.

Once we score 1-0 it will be the same scenario, just need an early goal. I would feel much better knowing Real are out of the possibility of winning it and ruining my evening and them rubbing our nose into it the whole summer.

It's a mess I agree, especially if you're travelling from abroad.

My advice would be (for future games), that you arrange to get there on the SAT around mid day. That way you are covered for either a sat/sun game. It's what I usually do.

Trust me I would've LOVED to do it that way, but I'm traveling through several different countries on this trip with a couple other people and a Saturday evening arrival was the best I could do. And now that might not be enough. So bummed if I miss this.

Barcelona's league game against Atletico Madrid at the Camp Nou next week, their last game of the season, has been sold out #fcblive [md]

I hope I will still get the tickets I ordered two days ago...
