Well, Carlo has a very different view on management to most top managers, to be fair, who are mostly about micro managing and overcoaching players into their system e.g Pep or Arteta.

Carlo is definitely very unique in his view here.

And very inadequate for our era really...
How can you survive with this philosophy today?
Him failing at Napoli and Everton is an obvious result of that.

Madrid stans will come now defend him, but if something works only for Madrid then it's not a good philosophy TBH. Pep's philosophy works wherever he goes, same with Arterta, same with Klopp, same with Xabi Alonso, same with Inzaghi, and so on
A top coach is a top coach in all the clubs he works

Serghei is embarrassing, man.
You can love Xavi the player but Xavi the coach, is a complete abomination.
So many cringe posts where he tries to defend him. He must be suffering from battered wife syndrome or something.

You can't bring Everton and Napoli with Ancelotti and then bring Pep to the discussion.
When has ever Pep overachieved with his team?
He had the best squad in every trophy he has won, by a large margin.
Barca and Bayern both had best squads in the world, City only won CL when they had twice the quality of nearest opponents, they had the best squad in EPL since 2017.
The only time Pep played in a competition he didn't have the best squad was his 1st seasin with City and he barely qualified to CL.

How can we say Pep would succeed at any club with that? You think he can be success at Everon or Napoli with the same amount of funds? Nah. It doesn't work that way.

Easy to discredit Ancelotti, but pragmatic coach has always succeeded in every era and will continue to do so. They will never be evolutionary type of coach, but always get the job done.

PS: Arteta doesn't belong to the conversation of top coaches yet.

Nominated for Globe Soccer’s Best Coach Award. Deserved nomination (15 coaches nominated, not 4/5) after the fake resignation to relieve the pressure and boost the moral of the team and converting Christensen to DM to have good 3 months until PSG game.

You make it sound like it is a calculated move lol.
Here is the reality :
1. He quit because he saw Klopp do it
2. Unlike Klopp who informed liverpool 6 months before to have enough time to find a manager, Laporta couldn't find shit
3. Laporta not finding anyone who our finance could support (thanks to your pal Tebas) goes crying to Xavi
4. Xavi seeing the moment the team had said why not

Now I only hope during summer he goes to a coaching master class to learn some basics.
Laporta could easlily delude the cost of the training into one of his restaurant dinner tabs.

Fair about pep's squad, but I think he would succeed at any team, napoli everton or even lower.
It's a pity that he hasn't taken such a job to silence his critics on that front
Same for the coaches I mentioned. Inzaghi for instance succeeded at Lazio, but very few acknowledged that (let alone in here who twerk for the most obvious people).

pragmatism is irrelevant to my point. Any defensive coach can be termed 'pragamist'. But many of them have really laborious tactical outsets.

The point it that a good coach succeeds wherever he goes. There are no good coaches only for certain clubs

Xavi was never going to leave, if he had an intention to leave he would do it immediately after the game… not to promise to leave after 5 months. He was just hoping for good results and probably a trophy to make fans beg him to stay. The truth is he got the results to some point and he used this as planned.

When Pep does magic with Napoli and Everton, you will make me a believer. Until then, this is yet another embarrassing post by Birdy equivalent of that Bayern trashing in 2014.

Again wrong, because that assumes he thinks further than his nose.

He is an emotional bomb ... look at him every fucking game arguing with anyone with a pulse !

He just said lets go for it, without thinking too much about it.

Laporta begging him, and him realizing no club will ever want him made him change his mind.
