According to MD we're following Edwin Valencia, 16 year old Ecuadorian midfielder who plays for Barcelona SC U20 team. Jose Maria Bakero and Pep Boada will watch him live in their game against Independiente del Valle in coming days.

Always like following such gems from Latin America and always wishing them well. I don't recall us ever having an Ecuadorian feature for us. As one of the few South American nationalities that are yet to play for us.

From what I could quickly see on Ecuadorian football forums, he seems very highly rated although you never know with players this young (16 year olds).
