I think the very fact that he agreed to "teh austerity measures" is a good sign for his character. Most amigos didn't accept it. DeJong seems like a schoolboy, who just wants to be good and Barca be good. I appreciate these kind of naive, but idealistic players.He will be good for us in the future.

Amigos has few years left to accept a "take pay cut now for more money in the future " deal.
Only one who did is Pique, and I am not sure I am happy he did.
Him, Pique, having a contract till 2024 isn't good news, although I suspect he leaves if he is told his time here is over.
