A hamstring problem, it seems. Hopefully he won't be out for long. At this rate we will soon become FC BustedHamstring. Also his presence today (apart from the shit tactics in the 1st half) has shown how much we need a player who can control the game (why we didn't buy one is beyond me) when he isn't on the pitch.

he's played on average like 90 minutes a week, considering we've been playing 2 games a week that's not that much

he made a drastic difference in our midfield when paulinho came off.

It isn't just minutes, not taking a full game rest has its effect on fatigue too. Lucho tried that "manage minutes" shit with Rakitic and he was fatigues and he was far younger than Iniesta is right now

idk i think it was just bad luck he got injured

rakitic under enrique is not comparable to iniesta this season

rakitic under lucho ran over 12 km's per match, was rightback, centermid and right winger all in one game

iniesta is playing 40-60 minute games doesn't run as much doesn't have to be at the end of crosses / corners, physically at 33 he shouldn't be struggling this much.
