imho Liverpool are maybe a decent GK and 1 CB away from competing for the PL. they already have the best front 3 in Firmino, Salah and Mané. always had a soft spot for them and id love to see them back to their former glory.. just not in the CL :cool:

is probably the best midfield in the PL as well if people can look past overrated big name players

Depends on the fitness of mane. The difference between him being available and unavailable last season was drastic. It was only at the end when they changed their style to win some ugly low scoring games, that they seemed to get over his injury.

But if that forward 3 is fit and healthy...too many goals to not challenge properly.

Yes that changed the game. Liverpool were in it until the sending off. Klopp made mistakes in the window. A CB at least should've been signed for a start.

they have some good players in Mané, Coutinho, Salah and Firmino but like you say their defence is amaturish as well as their GK's. can't understand why they put all their eggs in the VVD basket when there were plenty of CB's available, heck Jonny fucking Evans would be an improvement right now.

with Keita coming in next summer and if they can keep hold of Coutinho they'll have a solid midfield and front 3 to compete with anyone in the PL

So what exactly do they think they're going to achieve this season by keeping Coutinho? They will finish outside the top 4 along with Arsenal and get knocked of the CL in the early stages. Too bad, they could've cashed in on Coutinho this summer, but instead will be forced to sell him next season for half that 160m price due to their delusion.
