Funny how everyone is in line to criticize Messi/Barca yet we didnt here a peep whenever Ronaldo skipped events or Madrid made up friendlies as an excuse. Then it all makes sense.

Maradona is a fucking snake. Every time he gets a chance he takes shots at Messi these days.

It's more beneficial for him to side with Ronaldo because he knows Ronaldo will never be the threat to his legacy like Messi is.

Because we have fallen so far from what we used to be.

Scandal after scandal with the board from the Neymar transfer saga, Rosell's incredibly shady business in brazil, FIFA transfer bans and player scandals like Messi's and Neymar's tax lawsuits. We've also abandoned our La Masia routes and have begun making expensive and poor transfer while our ex Masia talents like Thiago, Bellerin and Grimaldo are doing well elsewhere. We've also becoming a marketing machine and aligned ourselves with the likes of Qatar that have a incredibly poor global reputations (This is more of a necessary evil to sustain growth but it comes with consequences especially considering previous UNICEF sponsorship). Additionally, our board won't stand up for the club in and wont speak out against FIFA/UEFA/LFP/Madrid Media etc...which allows our reputation to fall even more.

:)

Would love for Messi to win the WC and name all the Argentine legends of the past that inspired him, but obviously leave out this fat hack on bad coke.

That walking drug-bag which is called Maradona should shout his mouth, as the last person on Earth who can judge the actions of somebody else outside of a football pitch is exactly him.

Judging by Oscar Grau interview it seems that we really have money problems and can`t give Messi what he wants in a new contract. How incompetent can these guys be, that they find themselves in a situation where they don`t have the money for the best player in the world, while at the same time giving enormous payraises to every player with new contract. Fucking incompetent bastards. Transfer ban, Neymar saga, letting Thiago go for peanuts, buying mediocre players for large fees and now this. Even Florentino fucking Perez looks like a good chairman when you compare him with these idiots.

It really made no sense they renewed Suarez before Messi. Those idiots should had their priorities straight. They knew there'd be no money. Call me crazy, but the only reason for that is they want to sell Messi for the new stadium. And as this could hamper the renewal negotiations, they can say Messi left because he didn't want to renew and they did their best, etc. We'll see.

I really hope that is not the case but I did get a bad feeling that they are starting to prepare for those excuses should Messi choose not to renew with us.

They should know more than anyone else that we are nothing competitively without Messi and us without Messi will deal huge blows to our performance on and off the field. Barca without Messi will truly be the end of an era.
