Dont like Sevilla, weird club. Hope we school them on sunday.

Nothing weird about them. They have amongst the most passionate fans in Lliga, they are competent than us in the transfer market, they make great stadium atmosphere, they know to maximize their squad and 've set a precedent by their EL dominance and they have given us great players like Dani, Keita and Rakitić.

What's surprising is how some Liliga followers are finding it painful watching a club not called Real Madrid, win a trophy. Yes, Barca most likely will beat them (given the gulf in quality and less recuperation time), but that shouldn't preclude them from appreciating Sevilla's heroics, and in doing so giving lesser Lliga clubs reason to celebrate.

Knew Sevilla would get back into it when people were putting Liverpool's name on the trophy at half time, but Sevilla totally battered 'em.

Wouldn't of minded Kloppo winning it but the English get insufferable with a win so *shrug*.

Liverpool choked in the 2nd half (big time!), but to be completely fair were denied 3 (!) penalties in the first half.

Jurgen Klopp deserves better than Liverpool. A world class manager managing a medicore and bang average team that will never win anything. In 3-4 years time when we still finish around the 5th - 8th places and continue to win nothing, his reputation will be diminished and he doesn't deserve that.

I wonder if Sevilla would finally try to give it a shot in CL aswell. Apparently knockout games are their favourite shit, but their CL campaign was rather underwhelming. Maybe they like EL jsut more than CL.

They lose some players every summer and have to replace them ,make it difficult for them to be really good early in CL . and this year against City/Juve/Gladbach they didn't have luck on their side either

Easy for Sevilla, they looked far more ready for this match. And also, their fans were better as well, despite the fact that there were more Liverpool fans.

Ironically for them, the last time they didn't get humiliated or frustrated in the CL was when they actually had strong opposition in the league!

Yeah, but they seem to think that less competition = stronger Bayern, and they continue that path now, buying Dortmund players.

They gave it a shot. They were grouped with Juventus (last season's UCL finalist) and Man City (this seasons semi-finalist).

Surely Liverpool has enough money to bring in some quality players that Klopp wants.
I also think Klopp prefers to build something like he did with Dortmund instead of going to a Real Madrid or Barca.

The quality between the two teams was obvious in the end.

So

Finish 7th in la liga
No wins away from home
Europa league winners
Final cops del rey
