Barcelona are scared of him. They wont fine him and they wont put him in Barcelona B. Arda knows this. Barcelona have never met a character like Arda before.

Turkey international midfielder Arda Turan is nearing an exit from Barcelona this week.

The 30-year-old is yet to play a single minute of first-team football for Barcelona since the appointment of Ernesto Valverde.

According to the Spanish outlet Don Balon, Messi has told Barcelona to ditch four players before the transfer window slams shut. The window in Spain closes on Friday, September 1.

Per the source, Messi has instructed the board to sell Arda Turan, Andre Gomes, Thomas Vermaelen and Paco Alcacer.

Turan joined Barcelona for £24 million two seasons ago but has failed to make a lasting impact. The Turkey international has remained a bit-part player since making the move to the Catalan giants.

According to AS, Man United manager Jose Mourinho is interested in signing Turan. The report states that the Portuguese tactician has held talks with the 30-year-old.

Meanwhile, the Sun has linked Premier League duo Liverpool and Arsenal with a move for Turan.

Turan provided seven assists and scored 13 goals in 30 appearances for Barcelona last season. The Turkey international hasn’t featured for Barca this season.

Scared? How can the club be scared of a player, what can he possibly do?
Also Don Balon is one of the most ridiculous news outlet ever. Their news always are like: Messi wants this, Messi wants that. Absolute nonsense.
The Turkish transfer window runs to the 8th of September, so there is still a chance to get rid of Arda.

Actually I stated every single potential move for Arda and Gomes was fiction despite 100s of tweets and fake gossip. Don Balon is a gossip paper and personally - I believe what they are saying about Messi.

In Lucho we trust!
He just needs more game time. He is quality and rather unique in his style of play. With two DM's under Valverde, we could play him as a number 10 as he will be covered for the the lack of defensive work that he does.

We want players to play due to them having "swagger" and their past glories despite sucking for two years.

No wonder Bartomeu and the board sit safely.

I admit that he hasn't been at his best for us since he joined. However, I think that if we could find him some regular game time as a starter he will find his mojo again. Arda on form is a frightening thing. We need players with swagger. We need leaders.
