His self confidence is at the lowest possible point right now. That's actually pretty bad for us since we need him against Napoli. I sincerely hope he will start to deliver.

Happened once or twice, but mostly because he collided with other players who were standing in his way, like Vidal and Semedo.

His fans are in denial right now. Never had a standout performance and still waiting for him to score 1 goal every next match :lol: it's pretty sad.

Big games are just coming. If he scores in those, nobody cares he doesn't score vs Eibar and such. Imagine he scores in CL away, where we've sucked for years. He is still a World Cup winner and a top class player. Even if he is not the right fit. He can always be decisive.

And if he isn't decisive in those games or even good he's suddenly a big problem.

He seems like his right foot is so shit that he can not score even 1 on 1 situations.
Even his left foot is not on the level. He never actually even in his prime years seemed like player that will score goal from one chance.
But at least he has work rate and he got only one injury in whole carrier.

I think maybe he could be ST next season because this is season was disaster for the club.
Just hope so he will score some goals and Barca will not get 111 million for new flop a.k.a Lautaro Martinez.

Of course. He isn't a volume scorer like Suarez, but if he brings something extra in these tough games in CL, he'll be more than worth it. If not, he either finds a way to score more in La Liga or we should sell him to fund other transfers.

There was twice where he had to take two touches in their box and lost the ball - should have shot without a touch! But he needed two freaking touches to control the ball! Dude, Pique would have scored on both those chances ffs!

He was never a ‘predatory 9’ to begin with. If you look at his matches with France and Athleti, he was all about playing just off the main striker, Giroud, Costa etc. With Barca though his role and movement is different. The spaces and free role he had is not there anymore. That is precisely why he struggles and is generally frustrating in this new role.

Also I feel Lautaro could suffer the same fate. He looks like another one of those second striker type players. Not sure if anyone noticed but his performances improved when Lukaku joined Inter.
