Even if Dembele lowers his wage demands, I still can't see anyone that stupid being interested in paying any kind of serious money for him. Unless some kind of miracle allows him to play a few good games in the second half of the season, then we are stuck with him, our precious millions going down the drain. This is such a monstrous disaster for us.

Would you? It's as clear as daylight that OD can never be a top level player. Neither in terms of level of play, nor in terms of fitness. Probably the most disastrous transfer in football history.

True. Loan sounds like the best option for now and pray he plays better.
Check out the documentary "Game Changers" that covers the advantages of a plant based diet. Dembélé should seriously consider making a radical change and stop eating red meat. Messi could teach him how to overcome muscle problems. If he wants to have a successful career as professional football player he has to pay attention to nutrition, focus on prevention, not just recovery from injuries.

Sad. What a tremendous disappointment Dembele has been.
Whether he comes back healthy or not, giving up on him and focusing his minutes on Fati and Griezmann is the best course of action to take at this point.

10 weeks out at this stage, will probably have a relapse though so probs 12 weeks is my estimate
Actually the reports are saying it's actually closer to 8 weeks.

We will need Dembele if we make a deep run in the champions league. Griezmann should be the starter while Dembele is the impact sub anyways.

When (or rather if) he comes back from injury, then he will get a few more chances for sure, especially in the CdR. Then, he will get shipped out in the summer.
