In Sparta I would give you head for such an insult!

Homosexuality in the militaries of ancient Greece was regarded as contributing to morale.Although the primary example is the Sacred Band of Thebes, a unit said to have been formed of same-sex couples, the Spartan tradition of military heroism has also been explained in light of strong emotional bonds resulting from homosexual relationships. Various ancient Greek sources record incidents of courage in battle and interpret them as motivated by homoerotic bonds.

Fixed that for you mate. :coffee:

He completed a backheel today. That calls for some "good game Rakitic"

He wasn’t too bad, quite useful in that role but rather have 40/50m for him.

Any team that pays 40/50M for him if they've watched Barca at all since March, would literally be flushing that money down the toilet.

Didn't mind him coming on to give some rest to our midfielders. But I'd rather those minutes go to a younger player like Alena.

I asked a similar question on a chat.
You guys are not consistent.

You claim:
= That every player needs some matches to get into a form, to get chemistry with teammates, to get confidence.

So, if starters are currently Vidal, Frenkie, Arthur.
Imagine if one or two get injured before CL quarters.
Then we will need to play Busi and Raki.
That means that they have to play from time to time to be in form.

Regarding Alena.
Even if you give him minutes now, he won't surely help in big CL matches.

That doesn't mean that young players should never play.
But: NEVER again play Busi and Raki is also not a solution if you want to have good bench players for a long season.

Rakitic is clearly not in this team's long term plans. Heck, if you go by some of the reports, he might not even be in the short term plans and could get shipped out in January.
Rather let a player like Alena try to get some chemistry rather than Rakitic.

Watching training clips and tonight's game it's impossible not to notice's Rakitic's constant, lifeless scowl.

He should know he's not the first player to be benched in football, it happens. As someone here said, his arrogance probably ruined him.

BBZ you dense motherfucker. Nobody said not to use Busquets or Rakitic ever again. That's you, putting words into everyone else's mouths like usual. I would use them ahead of Alena or Puig everytime there is a tougher match but at 3 or 4 nil against Sevilla in the 70th minute I would sure as hell give match time to player that might have a future with us instead of someone that is out the door next summer. Busquets himself has already played plenty matches this year so not playing 20 minutes here wouldn't make any difference.

And fact of the matter, instead of arguing about rainbows and unicorns, why don't you you fucking see that there we talking about players in different positions here. Todibo, being young and relatively new to the team needs more game time to develop and adapt to his teammates. Players like Rakitic and Busquets are here since the begining of time so they don't need as much time to get into rhythm. Like usual though, you move goalposts and create shitty narratives that suit your usual moronic agenda like you breath.
