UCL - Man City, Liverpool, Man United, Spurs, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico, Juventus, PSG, Bayern Munich, Ajax, Dortmund, Napoli, Porto
PL - Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal, Man United, Wolves, Everton, Leicester City

UCL is harder obviously. But the fact Chelsea and Arsenal will both contest the Europa suggests they would have been decent CL quality teams this year too. Wolves, Everton and Leicester are probably around Porto level.

They lie.

CL shits on any league many times over.

There's a lot more luck involved in winning the Champions League. A domestic league is much better at sorting out which teams are better than others. You can win a Champions League by only beating one or two top teams along the way, and even then you might only draw and go through on penalties. You can't do that in the Premier League or La Liga. Chelsea won the Champions League while being only the fifth best team in England that year for example. I think the Champions League is only the priority for teams that have either never won it before or regularly win their domestic league.

Disagree wholeheartedly. CL has the bigger prestige in any case. Ask any pundit or journalist. Even to the PL teams who are firm in their belief that their league is the best in the world, the CL is the bigger draw. Otherwise the likes of City wouldn't have fired their previous two PL-title winning managers to hire Pep.

You are detached from reality if you genuinely believe that Liverpool would rather win the Champions League than the Premier League. That is 100% not the case. And City have never won the Champions League, they can't feel like a true elite team until they have. Same for PSG.

Most international fans care more about the CL because it's well, international, or european at least. The simple fact that you support a team that is not from your country makes you more likely to view CL as the biggest and the best.

The local fans are much more entrenched in the local tradition and rivalries.
