Why is there no Moussa Dembele thread? hat trick in 12 min, that guy is fucking insane, of course we will sleep on him but would be amazing to have a player like this.

Jesus christ.

He is nowhere near good enough for Barca.

The Celtic player with best chance of playing for a big club is Kieran Tierney the LB by a long way.

And who is good enough for barca? He is 21 years old, miles ahead of Paco, when we bought him at the age of 22. Of course Griezzman would be better but its clear as day he will be one of the best strikers.

He isnt better than Paco. Not even sure he is Celtics best striker. Probably isnt.

Dembele would struggle to get a game at mid level EPL teams. Nothing special.

It’s a wonder how there’s so many great French talents given how bad their league is. If only La Liga weren’t so strong their youth development would be on the same level!

It's just a question of money. Bring the same money to french clubs, same decades of unlimited money and huge debt without stupid FFP, they would control european football.

Who gives a fuck how many young players a league produces?

Rarely see anyone claiming the Belgian league is any great shakes and they have produced maybe more top players than France the past 10 years.

No doubt you will try to list the players produced by each and miss the point though.
Yeah, start to list, you will see how absurd are your words.

Just an example, the best belgian talent, Eden Hazard was trained in a ... French academy... in Lille !

Pogba was trained in England and Griezmann was trained in Spain.

The list of Belgian players is impressive and points to it meaning fuck all about the standard of league.

Start the list then.

I mean you can say the same about the Dutch, Belgium, Spanish, Portuguese or German league. England is greatly underachieving with their ressources, usually you'd expect anyone with half an idea to do better in their position. Unfortunately there are no "ifs" though, and England is second only to Spain at the moment.

None of those countries except Germany have comparable youth development at the moment. Brasil, France, Germany, and Argentina are way out in front in terms of youth development.

Jair, Brazil and Argentina have tradition and passion for football, not methodology. Countries with so much poor population simply cannot afford to have a national academy for football, but kids' passion for football in South America is nowhere to be seen elsewhere in the world, it's unique! Simple as that. Why Brazil lost to Germany 7-1? Because Germany had the tactical discipline and players to execute everything perfectly, not because they are better individually than Brazilian players. Three years passed on and I still don't see any shining star in the German squad, they just play as a team, as a whole.
