Who has played with him as double pivot? Mascherano and whom?
tbh Rakitic in many cases has been more of a 2nd pivot than a true CM, I think what jamrock means is another pivot in that sense,who will cover on Messi at the middle rather than on right flank. That seems reasonable assumption tbh

Yeah. Alonso more like a deep-lying playmaker though which is why Busquets-Verratti/Thiago/Koke could potentially work well.
We played Edmilson beside Van Bommel but they weren't key to us winning. Xavi-Iniesta in that Spain midfield were just like Deco-Xavi/Iniesta for Barca.

Backed Denis since we signed him from Man City and he played in Barca B, but he isn't close to Isco's level, let alone what Isco achieved with Malaga and some of his performances with Real Madrid. Besides, Isco has played as an attacking midfielder or a CAM while Denis' best performances have come from a wide midfield or left wing position.
This Isco rumor is shit anyway. Will prob see a few more of these considering there's 12 days to go until our next game.

Isco wants to leave real for playing time so why would we sign him in the first place unless we'd be offering him a starter role in the team which is ridiculous. Denis is 2 years younger than Isco anyway so he still has plenty of time to show his true potential, he just needs to be used correctly and not play him out of position in some stupid lineup alongside Gomes and Rafinha. He's best used in Iniesta's position or left wing but Lucho hasn't even given him a single chance there despite him playing there the entire last season. He seems to have great chemistry with Messi too so it wouldnt hurt to play him in that 343 formation or RCM in 433 alongside someone else but Gomes and Rafinha.

its thiago who we should be after at. If not him, then no1 but youth players. Yeah and why oh why would Vidal ever be a starter for Barca? He's been shit since he joined us, couple good performances coming off the bench against average teams doesn't change anything. Oh and lets just ditch Rakitic and Iniesta so we can fit in more average portuguese players into our team.
