Heavily linked to be Pep's desired player for City and they have been bidding 25m to seal a summer deal.
Barca and PSG are apparently also interested as it seems.

Leon Goretzka from Schalke could be a midfield option for us. He is more versatile than Weigl.

As if Dortmund would be willing to sell him and 25m is just laughable. ZERO chance.

He was close to Bayern... But with Pep knowing he'd be at City sooner or later, the deal didn't go through.

Many midfielders being discussed as potential signings for us, but Weigl is hardly mentioned anywhere. Someone to watch closely the next few seasons.

Had a great first season with BvB.

Seems to have some CM capabilities atleast, but prob worth waiting a couple of years, if we cant get him cheap.

He is a DM, I have yet to see him showing serious potentials in playing more of a CM role. He could be Busquet's replacement one day though.

He just turned down an offer by PSG with a higher wage, reportedly. Respect.
