The first 2 ODI's basically tell you how much the condition of the pitch determines the outcome of a cricket match. India scored above 300 in the first ODI and then below 150 in the very next ODI on a more challenging wicket against a completely mediocre bowling line-up.

Bump. And a major one at that. Whatever happened to all the cricket fans in here? :p

Aaaanyway, England deservedly won a Test series in India after around 27 years and completely outclassed India in all three departments. Australias' tour of India early next year would be a much better and an ideal matchup as both teams need some rebuilding. India just aren't in the same league as England right now. So, the Indian think tank needs to get there act together rather quickly or else there'll be a huge crisis.

Still has no evidence whatsoever. :pep: I'm quite enjoying this, though. :tito:

Mohammad Hafeez .

I'll take that anyday instead of a few heaves over mid-wicket. :p

Very rare to see Ajmal getting thrashed for that many runs in one over. Pakistan have a pretty devestating bowling attack, shame their batting line up does not do them justice otherwise these guys would be competing for the No1 spot in all forms of Cricket

The pitch played a huge part, and they didn't particularly bowl all that well.. Its the opposite for us, Our batting is brilliant when it clicks but the bowling is ordinary especially if the spinners fail.

Still we're world champions :D

Tbf, it was a batting-friendly wicket and only one bowler in Irfan, who was unlucky not to get a wicket, had some success in this match. Agree about the part regarding the batting line-up. Work needs to be done on how they should approach every situation but there's lots of talent, though.
