Fully expect Bronsexuals once again to claim he's the GOAT if the lakers win (though what will they say when AD wins finals MVP which is certainly possible).

Generally, most NBA champions have a former/current MVP on the roster.

Lakers have Lebron. The other 3 teams don't have any past MVP winner.

In like the last 40 years only 5 teams have won without an MVP on the team- 2019 Raptors, 2004 Pistons, 1989 and 1990 Pistons, and 1981 Celtics (though Larry Bird would win 3 straight MVPs just a few years later).

They'll claim it whatever the circumstance but he is in running for top3 of all time for sure. Even more so if he collects a few more rings in LA. Improves every team he's been on. You could only argue he's a bit of knob sometimes, but even that doesn't take away from the kind of player he is.

Not a bron fanboy, but what he's doing deserves a lot of respect. Dude is 35 going on 36 and is still in top shape and bullying other players on the court. Even if AD wins finals mvp it doesn't take away from Lebron's legacy.

Lebron is a top 2-5 player all time for me and it is amazing how he continues to play at a top level at this age with all the wear and tear on his body.

But ultimately, his legacy will be one of picking and choosing his teams. Teamed up with Bosh and Wade in an unprecedented move.

Went back to the Cavs once they had amassed some good assets.

Conveniently left the Cavs once they had nothing left and went to the Lakers. Pretty much traded all their assets for AD.

Lebron is the better individual player (talent for talent and stats) on the court but I always feel like the 2nd best player of all time should be a lock for Magic.

A born winner (NBA finals MVP as a rookie). Leader extraordinaire. Genius on the court. Beat great teams like the 76ers, Celtics x 2, Pistons in the finals. Went to 9 out of 12 NBA finals (mind bogglingly good).

That should be a wrap for that series, bar a huge choke.

Looking forward to the Heat matching up. If Lakers continue to play so well with a roster this deep, they shouldn’t have an issue.

Lebron has been very underwhelming this series. He's either carrying an injury or something off the court is bothering him. He would cruise to a 30 and 10 in the previous two series with his usual >60% shooting. What gives?

Game 5 tonight between Heat and Celtics. I think Heat will close it out. What a dream story for them?? 5th seed, no one really paying much attention to them, and all of a sudden they are the best eastern conference team in the bubble. Crazy. Lots of respect to Pat Riley and Spoelstra for putting all their chips on guys like Jimmy Butler, Adebayo, Dragic, and Herro. Not many other teams would count on these players to lead them to the playoffs, let alone to the ECF.

Lakers will close this one tomorrow.

If Lebron chokes this, we gotta kick him out of the top 5 (won't happen but if it does...).
